We present organic rosemary hydrolate for pharmaceuticals, obtained from the species Rosmarinus officinalis. The liquid is designated as Rosemary organic hydrolate for pharmaceuticals. The homeland of the raw material is Bulgaria, and cultivation follows organic rules that completely exclude synthetic fertilizers and all agents against plant pests. The species is classified in the Lamiaceae family, in which the aromatic substances are located above ground and do not accumulate in the root of the plant itself. The clean olfactory profile comes from steam distillation, which is also responsible for the even progression of the scent in the finished product. The stalk is used in the extraction, and the volatile fraction is held in peltate glandular trichomes with an extensive secretory cavity on the leaf surface of the species. The scent manifests itself strongly, the spiciness is light, and a bitter nuance closes the picture. The described compounds place cineole, pinene and camphor at the very front, while camphene and borneol follow them in the olfactory picture of the raw material. Storage

Store organic rosemary hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for pharmaceutical products, preferably dark glass, which protect the pharmaceutical hydrolate from light.
